Haven't seen anyone fishing Grapevine - was just wondering if the sand bass are biting?

Fished today Murrel 22-25ft of water. Started fishing a school but had a1ot of Small fish. We turned on The BoBo Thumper and started to catch 13 to 16 inch fish. Left with 42 keepers between 2 of us.

I went out yesterday evening and found a lot of fish stacked up along the north side Murrel Park but they all had severe lockjaw. Very few fish south of mid lake. I suppose from the holiday mess out there Monday the lake was all torn up from the pleasure boating. A friend of mine was out there Monday and said the ramps were a real nightmare.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Tonight murrel point was slow and steady. Finally saw some top water action but of course they were small.
1 oz slabs being the go to bait. Kept enough for a small fish fry.

It was slow Tuesday. Murrell was about the only place I found fish but only boated about 15.

Thanks guys! I live down here in Mansfield but Joe Pool is real hit and miss. Used to fish Grapevine quite a bit when I worked up there. Think I'll make a trip up.

I have fished Grapevine for 37 years so no problem finding fish and usually getting them to bite. But using the BOBO Thumper I catch Bigger sandBass when using it and no I do not know Jimbo Personally. The product just works. Get one and see for your self.

Went from 4 till 5:30. The rain ran me off. Fish were deep and the lake is up but not as stained as I had though. Deep off Murrell east point. 30 ft of water.. slow and steady catching.
