Tried out the new 5" bull gill and the gantarel jr.. im somewhat new to throwing swimbaits, and man it's a blast. You definitely won't catch huge numbers, but the bites you do get are god ones.

Who else has used these baits, and what do you think?

I don't have those brands, but some similar alternatives.

Right now is a great time for those (blue gill spawn is in full effect at some of the lakes I fish)

Less than five feet of visibility, I'll be less likely to throw them.

I ahppend to be a friend of Mike Bucca and I support him whenever I can. His Bull baits are the real deal and yes, you can catch bigger fish on them quite easily, for time spent using them. I like the slow sinking and the topwater shad. The Bluegill is the right bait to be using now whit the bluegill spawn going on. Hope this helps. Thanks for the video. Good luck. YOu MIGHT think about replacing teh rings since they gota little rusty. GOod luck. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

It sucks that you can't film a video without dropping F bombs and such. Seems like good content, just terrible approach. I only comment on this because I know my son clicks on and reads just about every thread on this page.

Sorry my man, I honestly thought I edited it out, that's what I get for late night editing. I try my best to edit out the bad ones when I can catch em. Again, sorry for my foul mouth, if there's one negative thing about being in the Marine Corp.. it has ruined my vocabulary.
