Iv had several different types of fish grips in the past and gave up on finding a good pair and went Catfish knuckles for a while. After destroying my hands on several trips this winter I gave the Lock Jaws from Whisker Seeker Tackle a try. When I first received them I was extremely happy with how strong and durable they felt. So far they have been by far the best grips I have had. Once they latch on they don't let go like other grippers I have had and my favorite thing about them is the rotating handle. No more broken wrist or twisted lanyards around your wrist when a big blue goes into a roll.

I have been using team catfish grips for a couple of years and I like them, haven't had any problems with them breaking or bending, big fish I use the net but I will use them on teens to land. I think I might try a pair of the Lock Jaws from Whisker Seeker, I really like the 360 swivel design because there are many times that those big bluecats will go into the alligator spin while taking a photo or releasing the fish, if you are not careful they could do some damage to your wrist pretty fast, if I remember right there was someone on this forum that actually got there wrist broken when one of there bluecats went into a spin.

LockJaws arrived and Im well pleased with what I paid for them WELL under the Boga tag price and actually much better built Sucks they dont have the scales but Ill settle for a positive grip and great price. Also snagged some Triple Threat 6/0 while I was at it I can see with a "proper" snell knot these things are going to sink in HARD! They need to make some 8/0 and 10/0 to keep my business Im all big bait and long wait, the 6/0 are for eaters To the point ordering process, fast ship, solid products so far Their rods are stupid expensive IMO(stick with PA)

I came across a few with damaged eyelets that I plan on rebuilding. But you're right, PA are hard to beat for the money.
