I've recently had trouble with my transom saver bouncing off the trailer, today I popped the cap off of my trim motor reservoir and it almost sounded like opening a can of coke,is that air in the system?how much fluid do I put back and is power steering fluid acceptable? Would this be a reason it doesn't stay in the "down" position allowing it to bounce up?

wal mart, tilt trim fluid in the tube. get 2.

have someone work the trim button while you VERY SLOWLY add fluid, it helps keep the air to a minimum.

fill to the bottom of the hole is all I have ever done.

Fill until the tilt will go all up. Do not over fill.
