Anybody been fishing down there lately?

Several years ago, we used to load up the ice chests with crappie & catfish.

Been thinking about driving down there one day just to see what kinda shape that old park and boat ramp is in.

"Fillet this fish? Hell no!
I'm gonna scale him, gut him, and fry him up whole.
Then, I'm gonna take him by the head & tail, 'n play him like a French harp."
--Uncle Paul, sometime back in the 60s.

In the 70s we used to put in at Logansport and go up river to fish the sloughs.

Then, we found out about Yellow Dog.

If you want to see some WILD country and catch fish, make the trip between Yellow Dog and Logansport.
