I want to go out and catch a bunch of bass (who doesn't). I can always go out and catch a few, but it's been awhile since I've had one of those all-day-bites type of day. I've been to the major reservoirs and I'm definitely learning and getting better, but that's a lot tougher than pond fishing back in Nebraska.

I've always liked Cypress Springs for numbers. It's lined with docks, and you can almost always find fish around the docks. I wouldn't fish it on a weekend though. It's a recreational lake for many.

Fayette. If you aren't catching 30+ fish a day, you aren't trying very hard

Honestly, the best way to go about this is to do some research (google earth + search function TFF + google search + change the "Show Topics" and "Sort by" variables at the very bottom of the main pages, + tpwd site and stocking histories).
You might find hidden gems that haven't been posted about in years or you might find something completely unreported.
Then keep it to yourself.
