Trying to avoid the jet fleas and whatnot so Lewisville is out. What lake should we try? Willing to drive up to 2 hours away.

Not lake Tyler! You can get away from them up north on Palestine. If you don't like tubers, skiers, jets is and wakeboats on Memorial Day you had better go somewhere with standing timber! How about Fork.

I dont live up north, but any body of water around central texas will be crazy. We left the boat at home today and had free entertainment watching the boat ramp on lake Travis. Lol.

Ok so we ended up at RR because I thought Fork may have gotten too much rain. Well it sucked. Caught fish on every BP but zero keepers. 50 fish and they were all about 8" long.

I fished ray Roberts today too and easily caught 50 fish and had 11 nice keepers and a few others get off. Vertical structure was key.
