Wednesday was our first day with non conflicting work days so I got the chance to take Mom fishing. We fished down a trail from the Lake Somerville spillway and had a fun time together. We caught lots of fish today. We caught a 12" and 13" white bass which was my first ever and her first in nearly 40 years. Foul hooked a carp or buffalo that broke the line trying to drag it up tail first
. The fish wanted the lures (black roadrunner jigs) retrieved slow and right along the bottom. Fish fry happened Thursday and now were ready to catch'em again.
