Friday I had Darrell and Sherry out on Lake Lewisville for an afternoon blue cat trip. The bite started out a little slow and they had to work hard for the fish. Their hard work paid off with Darrell landing his new personal best 45 lb blue cat. That things was a fat pig for sure. 45 was the magic number on that trip as that was the number of eaters I cleaned for them as well.
Saturday morning I had David, Leticia and Sam out for a Blue cat trip on Lewisville as well. The bite was again a little slower. They ground it out all morning and finished with 50 eaters in the cooler. The boat traffic and winds were a beating for sure. Fairly comfortable fishing conditions with the breeze and cloud cover.
The fishing for most all fish right now is really good. I still have some weekday spots open this week. Check out my website to book a trip.
