Any suggestions on hot areas or places to target at Navarro Mills? Hoping to take the Kayak out on Monday weather permitting.

Try the west end of the dam near the camping area. Start in the corner and work your way east along the
rip rap 12fow you could be surprised @ what you might find there if you have electronics.

We fished about 20 yards from the bank and about 10 yards off of the shore. I don't have electronics but from what I was told there is a tree pile below. Had two good bites, but didn't get any in the boat. This was my first time out focusing on Crappie ever, but also my first time out to Navarro Mills. Lake seems like it would hold good fish along all the "falling rock" edges around the corner from the the rip rap and lots of limbs near the small marina. Had fun, but still 0fur in the new kayak!
