The wind was down which makes FPH tough sometimes. Landed quite a few nice ones over 20 inches. Then Scott's son, home form collage at Johns Hopkins, hooked a monster. From the size in the water he was the biggest I had seen caught. Had him right to the boat. I was saying easy, easy, but the collage grad snowflake/entitlement/liberal took over and he tried to just jerk the fish wherever he wanted him. Needless to say, the line snapped. Darn snowflakes. They just haven't learned to catch a fish by coxing them into what you want in a bi-partisan net landing. He then blamed the line. We took him to the dock where he drove away to meet with his friends, I am sure to tell the story of my inferior fishing gear I provided him free of charge that caused him to miss a large fish. We went back out on the lake and landed a lot of nice ones after chasing down Larry and he pointed out where he was catching them. Beer was involved.

I sense a bit of frustration there...

I miss Fort Phantom and Abilene. I moved back to Houston last July and now spend most of my time between Livingston, Conroe, and Somerville. Most People don't realize how excellent the Hybrid fishing is @ Ft Phantom.
