Had the Davis boys from Midland and san antionio today. Little windy but stayed after them and ended up with a pretty good day. Caught them on a 24 to 27 ft. hump. All fish caught on chartuese and white ole uglies slabs. The last 45 minutes we really got into them on a ridge I have not caught fish on all year. It got so hetic at the end did not have time to click them. But we caught between 125 and 150. Got some openings after the holidays . Give me a call 817-597-6598. Get in on the great fishing before they slack off for the summer and it gets to hot to fish. Johnny

Too windy for the top water bite or are you not getting out at first light?

I am not getting out at first light. Have not heard of any top water bite. Don't fish top water bite . Too many people and small fish. Find fish on bottom with electronics and catch a lot more fish. Don't think they will be much top water bite this year. Sandbass don't have to school up to chase shad. They can eat them anyplace or anytime lake is so full of shad. Johnny
