I was trying to look up the tournament schedule for the Texas Striper Association. Website is down, Facebook page hasn't been updated since 2016, and I can't find a single post on the forum about it. Does TSA still exist? We fished a few tournaments in years past and always enjoyed them.

Not at this moment. Hopefully someday it will return. It needs someone to run it and that's not possible right know for me and others that have served as officers in the past. New business, old Guide Service and every person in my family except me attending school prevents me from taking on anything else. Any one interested?

I wanted to work to get to the position of president elect. But then I moved to San Antonio (which has also put a real damper on my fishing ) Still interested. But before I did, I would have to FINALLY get someone down here who can run the office while I'm away. So in my case, still a bit of a new business owner to make a commitment like that. But making progress. Hopefully soon. Spoke to K. Dugan about the same not long ago.

Chad I noticed you have been missing for a while. There are some Great Lakes around San Antonio. I hope all is well with you.

Hey Gene, Good to hear from you. There are a few lakes in the area. Most of the lakes (worth fishing) can be a couple hours apart. Because so, the lakes nearby or closest to the SA area (which Canyon is really the only option fishing wise) they get PACKED quick! I'm talking DFW holiday weekend packed. The # of lakes and how close they are together is about the only thing I miss about the DFW. I'm sure that the SA guys will tell me that I'm wrong but I'm still kind of spoiled from the DFW fishing

I bet I'm at least 1 lb lighter!

I bet I'm at least 1 lb lighter! One lb of fat or muscle?? That's makes a huge difference! Why did you moved to SA? DFW lakes have been good for the most part. Move back! FYI, old TFF buddy "El Nitro" just moved to SA also and got him a gorgeous Cadillac 24ft CC boat just in case you guys wanna hook up for salt fishing down there. You take care.
