ended up getting the pflueger trion at lunch today Excellent choice! I have four of them in 25 and 30 size. Very smooth drag. Best reel there is for $40 in my opinion.

I have yet to buy one but have used one before.
I know 2 people that have several each and one guy laid down his Pflugers to use em.

Got acouple Pflueger 6920 that have done a fine job for several years on 12-14' brush beaters. I break them down every other yr or so for cleaning and a fresh dose of Krytox lube Several other popular brands here also get equal duty My go to 7' PA whoopin sticks both have Shimano's If it will hold 50yds of string,thats good enough for me
