This wind is really getting old and I am tired of complaining about it but it sure makes it harder than it should be right now. Still fishing 6-15' water around brush, timber, flooded willows and rocks. So many different patterns that are working so I just go with what the wind will allow me to do. Best tip is move until you find them. They may be there today and gone tomorrow. Had some good trips this week in spite of the conditions.
Things are just going to get better as it warms up and concentrates the fish a little more. I'm ready for 100 degrees, sun and no wind. We will smoke them then.
We have caught everything on jigs in white/char, sour grape/chart this week.
I have some weekday trips available in the next couple of weeks.
if your wanting to learn how to jig fish, break down a lake, read electronics or just fill the freezer, anything Crappie fishing I can and will make you a better Crappie fisherman.
