Really fine bubbles are created from it.

Tiny little bubbles. Looks like a cloud of them in the water. Sometimes, you have to stare for a minute before you can see them.

Legends come with this feature and I use it any time I have fish in the livewell. You should see tiny bubbles coming out. I use it in conjunction with the recirc pumps. While the study shows it doesn't have a dramatic effect, any little bit of help is better than not having it especially during hot months. Another suggestion to use together with these others is to add a small amount of hydrogen peroxide along with your Please Release Me.

The hydrogen peroxide will give you the biggest boost of dissolved oxygen possible but you have to be careful not to use too much.

I just use HP and catch and release. I keep the recirc running most of the day and only add water to keep level up. I have never lost any fish and normally have some of the liveliest fish at weigh in.

you add about 4 or 5 oz for a 15 gallon livewell. It needs to 3% HP

In that case, alternative means of oxygenating the water is required for cyf (cover your fish) purposes.

Slide 5: "Oxygen did not increase when using the Oygenator only."

If the other stuff breaks, the Oxygenator is only draining your battery.

Your fish will die for sure if that's all you rely on. I had them in my last boat and ended up unhooking them and never hooked them back up. Junk and if anything you put in the well has salt it will cause it to make chlorine which will kill the fish real quick

Something never addressed is where does all the Hydrogen go? It is clearly produced at twice the rate of Oxygen!

Easy to tell if it's working. You will see all the "non-desolved" oxygen bubbles rising up and escaping out of the water! Think about it! (Ya, I got one. Came w/boat).

Perhaps, but

1. Since installing our oxygenator 15 years ago, we have not lost a fish in the livewell. Is it because of the oxygenator? I don't know but I'm not inclined to assume that it doesn't work either.

2. This study only tests the 2 most recent products to hit the market. Until a study comes around that tests the same product that is in my boat, neither you or I can draw any conclusions about whether or not it's "only draining" my battery.

3. I've never had any issues with my batteries.
