Going to be at Fork this weekend and thought I would try to put my daughters on some nice Bluegill. Now last time I tried this we found only a few fish in about 15 foot of water on random timber using corn. Any info you guys could share would be awesome. I fish for crappie alot out there so i would assume its close to the same type of fishing.
Thanks in advance.

It's about the same as Crappie fishing. This time of year Bluegill may be still spawning. Try shallow coves or water by structure. Also you might try docks in 10 to 15 feet of water. Overhanging tree limbs same depth or sunken timbers also hold good fish this time of year. Also try using live worms. They work best for me. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Caught some big gills in Little Mustang and also by the Dam on cranks when I was Bass fishing. They are in those spots pretty good.
But only targeted Sunfish at Fork on Docks at night under lights.
I would try Nightcrawlers cut in half or Crickets instead of the corn.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

We kept 70 nice bream last year Memorial Day on catalpa worms.
10-15 feet. Around Bell Branch.
That's on the West side of Lake Fork about halfway between SH 154 and FM 515.
