Anyone use them? I ordered some to try out. I guess it will just make it quicker to tie on having them pre-cut. Also, do y'all only use leaders on jigs, plastics, etc. or on all lures?

I pre-tie a few Carolina rig leaders before I go out, but I'm not sure of the benefits for jigs? I think the longest part is the line to line knot, I'm not sure if you can speed that up.

Only use a leader on a Crig.. If the leader gets frayed, I slide the weight up the line, go up the line from the swivel and cut that off 2 ft. and tie the swivel on then the hook. This is called swapping ends. I never us a different size leader or take time to get out a spool of line for a leader or use pre-made leaders.

If I'm fishing a tourney and I'm primarily fishing a c-rig or dropshot,I'll pre tie 5 or 6 leaders ahead of time and put them in a ziplock for super quick reties on the fly.

If I fishing a C rig I use Carolina Keepers, heck with swivels and knots.

When I get to the end of a spool of line when re-spooling I will cut 24"-36" pieces of the remaining line and put them in plastic baggies and I have them labeled line type and weight. When I need a leader I just reach in and grab one and cut down to size if needed. Guess it makes me feel good not to waste expensive line!

Similar here, but just keep the left over spool in a dry box and strip what I need when I need it.

Pre cut seems like a waste to me.

swapping ends will get ya broke off. The knot at the swivel takes a lot of abuse when fishing a heavy c rig. The weight beats on it pretty good. If ya gonna retie, just take 30 more seconds and tie both ends of the line to the swivel.

I only use pre-tied leaders on Crigs . I take a 12" length from an old pool noodle , tie up about a dozen leaders ( various line lengths , hooks etc....
Then I use 1/2 of a paper clip to tie down the swivel side of the leader with the hook end buried in the pool noodle . Makes retying Crigs really easy and fast.

The only time I use a leader of any type is when I am using my spinning outfit for drop-shotting and I want to use a fluorocarbon leader. Then I will use a 6-10 foot leader.
