I know BP was up past Stanley. Just curious how North Crochet was? If he was up by the 103 thats a long haul and pretty interesting at that..

BP wasn't past Stanley, Cliff might have been closer to Kurth than he was the 103!

Must be bad info i was given. I did not watch them. Was just curious since the statement was about muddy water and smaller fish.

I rode with Cliff on the first day when he caught 23lbs. He only had around 12lbs at around 11am, then the next 30 minutes he culled his way up to 23lbs. he pretty much stopped fishing after that. He did alot of flipping on the first day but i guess he culled that idea for the rest of the event seeing as all his big fish came on the frog. He was way up there, about as far as you can get before you actually get in the river, and YES, that was one scary, butt puckering boat run. Literally wide open thru the timber like it wasnt even there. We were passing stumps on both sides of the boat within 5ft at times doing 70 mph. I asked him if he has a trail marked or a boat lane chip, he said nope, i just try to dodge what i can see lol
