I'm looking for a place to launch that is protected from a south wind, any suggestions? I have no experience on fork but the day i'm going winds show 12mph out of the south. Thanks

Hideaway Harbor launch... plenty of places to hide from any wind direction.

I agree....plenty of places to fish, just keep an eye on the gators.

Definitely gators up the creek.

I will definitely be on alert for them, but it would be cool to see one at a distance.

Hideaway Harbor is a great place to launch, you don't have to worry about your car/truck and everyone I've met there has been super nice.
