Have only been on the lake once and it was when it was pretty low. Is the water usually pretty stained and muddy or is it a clearer water lake? Thanks in advance.

When it hasn't been too windy, the visibility is pretty good on the main lake. I would say that you can the bottom pretty well in 2-3 foot of water. It gets dirtier up the creeks.

FISHED A CLUB TOURNAMENT THERE LAST SATURDAY. LIKE SQUIB SAID, IT'S PRETTY CLEAR IN THE MAIN LAKE.
WE CAUGHT A LOT OF FISH, MOSTLY SMALL ONES, I DID WIND UP WITH A 7-1/2 LBER.

Seems the clearness depends on the direction and how hard the wind speed is. By the dam and rocks and the north side of the dam by the rocks it's always fairly clear. Up the creeks has always been very muddy it seems to me.
