 Two PK boats open next Friday.

I know of two boats open on PK Friday. Fishing is great and after FridaySat morning it could be a couple days before the fish settle back down because of holiday weekend boat traffic.
Fishing is off the charts! Early top water bite that can be extremely exiciting!

The early top water bite has been awesome! We went last week and caught them all day. Headed back out tomorrow.

What part of the lake would you recommend to start on? Taking my grandson out next week for his birthday for a day trip. Not asking for GPS coordinates but any help would be great

The middle part of the lake is best right now. I roam around a lot. I catch my bait on the muddy end and fish on the other end.
There seems to be fish of all kinds every place on PK.
Often while catching bait at night we will fish a few dock lights on the way back. Between the game fish I throw back from the cast net, dock light fishing, and intentionally fishing for stripers and sand bass one thing is very clear!
Fishing is great all over PK!
Stripers,sandbass, bass, and Crapppie are abundant. A new lake record catfish was caught this year I believe. It took a 49lb catfish to win the catfish tournament this year.
Go fish and fish with confidence. There there and can be caught

If you are not booked up all summer Randy, someone is missing out. I am not catching stripers but I catch dozens of sand bass every trip out. Pathetically easy to limit on sandbass at PK right now. The predominate sound on the lake at night is electric fillet knives. Sand bass are being caught is huge numbers and y'all are getting really nice stripers.

I have Saturday morning open now. I know of a guide that would do a trip on Friday also.
