any ideas? I have a ranger z521 and it seems like it just needs to come up a small amount????

I took a piece of 3/4" plywood, about the size of the tray bottom, and put 2 coats of marine spar varnish on it. Then, I attached a 3/4" X 1" (approx.) stick of plywood under the front part. Then screwed the whole thing to the bottom of the tray, then attached the pedal on top. Made it a lot easier to control.

Go get a plastic cutting board from Walmart and cut it to size.
