Are there any spots around the DFW that has some nice bream fishing

I don't fish the DFW area but there are a lot of good sunfish lakes in that area. There are some great anglers in that area and hopefully some of them will respond. Right now here in South Central Texas the sunfish bite has been great. Finding fish in 3 to 10 feet of water by docks,grass beds,large rocks,and tree overhangs. Live worms work best for me. Joe Pool and Lake Arlington both have healthy populations of sunfish.
If you do not have a boat Lynn Creek Marina on Joe Pool has a fishing barge and dock with good fishing.

Thanks guys. Banker as soon as go I'll give an update. Smithaven I fish Joe Pool a lot mostly from the Britton Park area around the creeks so I'll definitely check those areas out.

Checkout local parks. You may be surprised what you catch. I have seen lots of sunfish, bass, large carp and koi, even spotted gar in a creek fed pond in Grand Prairie. I got this one on Sunday after the rains.

Are there any spots around the DFW that has some nice bream fishing If you are a bank fisherman, head to the Bank Fishing subforum and check out the Community Lakes thread. Several thousand posts mainly about bank fishing in DFW.

Are there any spots around the DFW that has some nice bream fishing I caught a nice 9" gill Sunday on Arlington while crappie fishing...try there! Id take a few crickets as well, cant hurt! Also try in those rocks along the dam, had a huge war mouth about 3 weeks ago. Good luck and keep us posted
