With the crazy weather we've been having lately and cloud cover high winds "forecasted" for this weekend. How do you think that will affect the fish? MY opinion is it will keep them shallow and roaming, wanting to hit moving baits more than plastics.

Last Saturday afternoon/evening they were biting and feisty! All of the weird weather seems to be trumped by very hungry post spawn fish. Caught them pitching Texas rigs as well as fishing crank baits. your moving bait theory might be good, they were biting the T-Rigs on the initial fall most of the time and the crank baits when they deflected off a rock.

I think the wind direction changed every 10 minutes today on Tawakoni. Last 2 days out there I literally fished every weather pattern but sleet and snow.....lol
