 Fishing with Dave Mercer

I had a chance to take Dave Mercer fishing twice during Bassmaster Live breaks during the Bassmaster Texas Fest. Dave is a nice guy. He didn't have ego or act like he was better than anyone else. He is truly passionate about fishing in general. We talked a lot about places we fished and some past Bassmaster tournaments. It was fun just hanging out, catching a few fish, and talking about fishing.

Dave's a good dude, he takes an unnecessary beating on this board from the naysayers, who if they spent anytime around him they'd quickly form a different opinion. Looks like a great time.
