had to reload chrome/wifi/ethernet.

You need to start imaging that computer on an external drive occasionally for backup/restore use. I do mine twice a week and/or after adds or changes. If you need voice support pm me. I ain't Robert but I speaky computer.

I do an auto backup every sunday evening to a toshiba 500gb external, this one was a total wipe out. I think it may have been related to the win10 update. the update had just finished rebooting and poof no more internet of any kind. weird!

It's just you, Hop. I have Chrome, Win10, and did the update and no problems here.

We have dealt with numerous issues with Win 10 updates screwing up the network adapter. Had one right before lunch, uninstall Network Adapters from Device Manager (don't delete the driver) and reboot.

id 10 T error. I see it all the time.

run over to Popes and get on of those illegals to fix it....they will do better work for half the money.
