Got a couple ronco pocket fisherman for the wife and I. At 9inches folded
And 17inches open it fits just about anywhere. Today was the first time using them. We fished for about an hour and caught these bass

My final thoughts they are worth the $15 i paid

Not like a traditional fishing rod not sensitive at all and it felt like the fish pulled harder

Surely you're joking. I have it on good authority that bass can only be caught on $500 rods out of 70k bassboats.

My, but can you see the fly fisherman with his $5,000 of equipment delicately presenting a dry fly and you walk up near him and cast with that? I'd do it just for the fun of watching the other fishermen. Catching a fish would be a pure bonus.

Team that up with a "helicopter lure" and you're good to go!

Last summer I climbed up a rain forest trail in Puerto Rico with one of those in my pack. Stopped at a deep pool on a little rushing river and caught this fish on the same pocket fisherman and a road runner.

I can tell you from experience how upset fly fishermen get when you pull up to a bridge pylon they can't quite cast to and start catching rainbows on a spinning rod and crappie jig. Ticks them off pretty good.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!
