 Daughter's first carp

My 8 year old daughter landed her first carp this afternoon, she joins 4 older brothers in the carp club.

Awesome congrats to the both of y'all nice fish wtg dad i always enjoy taking my girls fishing ... Thats one of the darkest carp i have seen

Thats one of the darkest carp i have seen Carp up here often get interesting coloration after the winter, we've caught light and dark ones, sometimes almost red, and even one that was bordering fluorescent yellow. Their color seems to stabilize as the water warms up and clears up, rivers are usually very stained and muddy during spring thaw, especially after all the heavy rains we are getting here.
