use the paper hand towel to open the door

You are a minority in the men's restroom. Amazes me how many men take a leak and proceed out the door without washing, touching every handle in there...then returning to their food. hammer

I open it with a paper towel in my hand. Hold it with my foot then chunk the paper. I'm a germaphobe.

I'd be happy if my local grocery store had more than one kind of apple or orange. A buffet with 19 kinds of olives is insane. And you wonder why the terrorist hate us.

I no longer ate there. Last two was Burger Girl in Frisco which went Out of Business, and Irving has a Angelo, which was a very popular Italian joint for lunch, and I was a patron until I saw there kitchen.

I love it in the workplace when after not washing their hands they're over at the coffee pot pouring a fresh cup. SMH. roflmao

I notice things like this as I am creeped out by germy people. Next time you are in an airport watch how many march right past the sink in the restroom. It's shocking. It makes me wanna wear gloves everywhere I go.

That's how poop is spread around....you know when they do those test on the news(swab test of random everyday items)...poop is always involved in high levels.

Some of you are old enough to remember a very well known citizens advocate and TV news investigative reporter by the name of Marvin Zindler (AKA Chicken Ranch Killer - era 70's - 80's), amongst other things every Friday he would do his weekly restaurant review of local health code violators from visits he would conduct during the week. Loved by some, and hated by others he made a mission of holding operators of food establishments accountable for food service prep and storage and looking out for the general well being of the public and the underprivileged and elderly in particular.

What became pretty evident from his investigating was that some of the worst and more frequent violators in the food service industry were by those you would least expect it from and many of the locally owed mom & pop establishments had some of the best kept operations. Some very popular and well established eateries had their azzes handed to them in their hats due to surprise visits from MZ, who knew of his reputation and credibility and dared not decline his visits knowing the PR nightmare that would follow.

As an aside........A close friend of mom & dad owned and operated the Swiss Chalet in the Post Oak area at that time and Zindler was a regular there. He showed up about 8 one night when the family had decided we would all go there for my 18th birthday. He very politely introduced himself to everyone (mom was particularly giddy), BS'd for a while then moved on to having diner with another gentleman who had showed up to meet him. We shut the place down at 10 and managing partner (ex Dallas Texan/Houston Oiler OL) Sonny Bishop informed Dad that Marvin had instructed our waiter to keep the tab open as long as we were there and charge it to his account, he gave the waiter $100 for his troubles. The tab came to nearly $700 for the 8 of us, which was pretty hefty for that time, a pretty gracious gesture on the part of somebody who had never laid eyes on us and who's reputation by some was that of a "mean old man".
