You probably have a better chance of getting really sick in the healthy food section from bean sprouts, alphalfa sprouts, precut produce for salads etc. Danger lurks around every corner. Lol

I see those olive bars and a wonder who goes by and scoops up food that's laying out in the open air, in a public place while strangers walk past coughing, sneezing and farting all around it. Nasty.

Do you ever wonder about the salt and pepper shakers in eating establishments? did the person sitting at the table before you go to the bathroom and not wash their hands or did they just pick their nose before picking up the salt shaker. I've never once seen anyone clean the shakers when the tables were bussed.

central market has one. if people kept getting sick it would be closed. So does Whole Foods and there's not another food retailer more health or environmentally conscious than they are

Yep and now a lot of places are going to the salt and pepper grinders, now your getting/spreading germs with both hands.

I'll take Kroger, TThumb, Central Market, etc., over the organic stores any day.
They stink and the food section looks terrible. Have any of you "cats" eaten at Whole Foods or Sprouts lately?
I don't care for it, but if you do, and you enjoy the organic offerings, it's cool. It's all opinion anyway.
Addendum: Take care of yourselves in general, and "sickness" will have a hard time invading your space in the big picture. I won't say I "never" get sick, but I "rarely" do.
