What's up everybody?

Looking for a guide recommendation, kinda short notice. Next month trying to get my dad and grandpa out on a crappie trip. We primarily fish saltwater but it's time for something different.

Preferably close-ish to Houston as we live in Pearland (Conroe, Livingston, Somerville) but pleas let me know if you recommend somebody.

Many thanks!

-Matt

It may be a drive but I would highly recommend Chris Webb or Lane Palmer on cedar creek. Your trip would not be a disappointment guaranteed! Two of the best guides in Texas !!

Hey Matt, you may want to check out Bradley's Guide Service on Conroe. He has a FB page and has been killing the crappie.
Good luck

Weldon Kirk of Fish Tales Guide Service, fishes Somerville, and Fayetteville. Mostly catfish, but read were he did some crappie trips. Never used him, but always seems to have good reviews. Someone on the catfish sections said he is now mostly on Facebook.

Thank you for the suggestions! I'll start looking into them.

Side note- we took our Shoalwater to Raven today- no crappie but a box full of big bream!

Give Michael Richardson a call at http://lakelivingstonadventures.com/
Michael can definitely put on fish for a fun day.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I ended up booking a trip with Bradley's guide service on Conroe in June. Closest place to us, and we haven't fished Conroe since I was a kid.

I'll report back after the trip!

Hope everybody has a fun/safe Memorial Day.
