 Why didn't you go to the Bassmasters in Lufkin?

I am just curious why some people didn't go to Bassmaster Texas Fest? Was it the McDonalds at Toledo Bend or something else?

Had a tournament on Pines this weekend. I like and respect those guys, but I'd rather be fishing.

Watched it all live. I will say I believe they will change up day 4. Looks like about 50 people watching in person. Not sure how to fix that, maybe have final weigh in at the lake and let anglers bring in all 5.

If all the stuff would have been at the lake I would have went and checked out the expo. My $.02 is it should have been at Umphreys so everything could be held at 1 location

Had to work. Also would have went fishing instead of driving 5hrs.

I thought the weigh in was a bit silly. Considering everyone already knew how much the anglers had and who won since BassTrakk was actually a live leaderboard this weekend, it seemed cheesy to pretend there was drama about how much the anglers had. I do like the MLF style of weighing the fish and immediately releasing them, but it doesn't work when you then try and have a traditional weigh in with no fish.

I went to the classic and was disappointed in the expo. Unless you wanted to shop, there wasn't much in form of entertainment . I don't think I'd make the trip for a regular event.. just my .02.
