Your opinions please on the best rod for accurately casting 1/4 oz. topwater (Yellow Magic) baits.

I love the cheap ugly stick lites in 7' M for topwaters with treble hooks.

If you can find a used All Star Patinum (Houston made) 783c, that is ideal imo.
Best I've found that's still in production is a falcon cara reaction 4-165 jerkbait special

Falcon weightless worm special is good. I like a longer rod (7' or so) most of the time. Medium action. If I can't cast it where I want, usually the rod is too stiff .

A good quality 6'8" cranking rod would be my choice
