Well I decided on 10' Talons and Terry at Anglers Marine set me up. Thanks Terry. I installed the first one last night. Was pretty easy installing the jack plate bracket with the tilt bracket.
Question is..... I have a skeeter boat and the back end of a skeeter is pretty sealed up. How have you run the wires in ? Did you cut a new hole? Did you cut a hole in the tube from the motor to the boat? Can you tie them into the batter cables inside the motor cowling?
How oh how do I get those wires in.

Look right in front of the motor at the rubrail. There should be a cover plate with 2 screws. A great place to enter the boat with Talon wires. Depending on what year your Shelter was built. Good luck with your install. If you need more help give us a call. Or stop by our booth at Lake Fork Marina this weekend during the Legend of Lake Fork Thanks

What he said is correct. I have so many wires running through there I had to take a dremmel and open the hole up a little more on mine.

Sea dog makes waterproof plug that will hard mount to the back part of the Skeeter and wire to the battery. The male part will go on the Talon wire. The two parts screw together with O rings inside to make waterproof.
