Where are all the people who fish Hubbard? I don't see a lot of reports and post like I use to back in 2012 and 2013. Are most of those people posting on Facebook now and not here or has the fishing been off for a long time on Hubbard?

Fishing Hubbard has been real erratic. Mornings are slow and afternoons are better but still not steady.

I appreciate the response guys, just seems like it's been slow for the last 2 to 3 years not just the last month or so.

What Gene said. Also I don't have FB so can't tell ya... but I have friends who know friends of friends who befriended friends on FB.. It can get very interesting on the fishing soap channels

Baby girl and I hit it yesterday, 10:00 till 1:00 yesterday. Tried shallow and deep. Three fish shallow green fish big sandie and short hybrid. Co co minnows.... then went deep 30 fow. Slabbed up a half dozen. Fish hugging the bottom. Next we went crappie fishing and caught and released a dozen. Off to the last spot in 22 fow. One hybrid three sandbass a small cat and mannnnny drum. Lot of running and gunning because the daughter likes the boat rides!!!! Good day out on Hubbard. Didn't kill it but had fun. It had been three weeks since I was out there. Looks like a good summer of fishing to come. Will work on pics in second. Photobucket not too kind on the phone.....

I do not post much anymore because of the drama sometimes. Like Gene and Todd said it can be good and bad. Its like they are biting in one spot at a time and only that one spot and if your in that spot you will catch a lot. One day they will be on the east side and the next the west, lot's of running and looking. Lot's of Short Hybrids being caught so be careful.

Well said, Pat. Also we lost a bunch of good hibbies during the flood of 2015. But is short, you can still catch decent fish on hubbard but just have to work harder 
|
