Yellow Majic popper, buzzbait & a frog for the thick stuff pretty much covers everything for me. Add in a spook type walking bait and a Wooper Plooper...occasionally but those 1st three will cover just about any senerio.

Agree.

Up north nothing beats the classic Pop-R, as long as it has a pink mouth.

Are yellow Magics really worth the $$$?

I like the floating jerkbaits with a tail prop. Not realy a topwater but if you just jerk it and crank it to about 3 or 4 inches deep, pause and jerk it again as soon as it breaks the surface it gets some good blowups.
Also like buzzbaits and a spook a lot.

It looks pretty funny but i don't know if it works or not. What 3 top waters should I pick up for this lake? What colors? Thanks

A Phillips head screwdriver looks pretty funny too but when you need it, you need it.

Lures are tools. They all "work". They work better if you have confidence in them. The Stutter Step was designed for the guys that have difficulty walking a Spook-type bait.
