Bad stuff. I lost 4 rods a few years ago. Hope you get them back.

Why leave your rods in the boat knowing the thievery that happens now a days. Might as well just leave a coule thousand dollars on the dash of your car and hope for the best.

I'm sure he hasn't thought of that. Very insightful.

Sorry that happened. Hopefully lightning will hit the thieves tonight while holding them.

Trust no one. Even if I'm on a fishing weekend at a COE campground, I put my rods and tackle box in the truck or in the RV. Nothing gets let in the boat overnight.

I kept my rods in my boats in my driveway with a cover on them for 8 years in Irving in a semi ghetto area, never got jacked with.

My old partner would leave all his rods in his box when we went fishing and stayed overnight, he would say that is what insurance is for. He probably had over $10K in rods he carried.

Crack head thieves. Check with local pawn shops and craigslist. Most crack heads aren't real smart and will sell the stuff they steal as quick as they can to get $$$ to buy drugs. Your stuff is probably already up for sale or been sold. Make the rounds of all the pawn shops in a 20 mile radius and hope you find your stuff. If you do, prosecute!

Nothing worse than a thief. We have had our fair share of meth monkeys checking car doors in the neighborhood driveways.
