Lee Pruiett was the president of Gartex Bass Club. We lost him suddenly at our March tournament this year at Toledo Bend. This will be a great benefit to support a great family.

I will be at Bass Pro Sunday morning at 4:30 for registration. Registration will be held by the front door. After registration you may leave any ramp of your choice and start fishing at 6:00am and lines must be out of the water at 3:00pm. Your chip must be in the bucket on the Victory Bass Stage that will be located in the circle just above the Bass Pro docks by 3:30. Any team that turns their chip in late will have their catch disqualified. There will be a 1 pound fish care penalty for any dead fish. There will be a raffle and trophy presentation after weigh in. I hope to see everyone there.

Thanks for all the support, Mitch

We had 34 boats at the Lee Pruiett Memorial Bass Tournament on Ray Hubbard Lake. 5/21/17
Lee Pruiett the club President passed away suddenly at Toledo Bend during a GarTex Bass Club Tournament. The club was deeply saddened as a result. Mitch York and the GarTex club wanted to help the family with overwhelming expenses. This was a celebration of Lees passion for Bass Fishing and a way for us to give back as a tribute to a beloved club President.
Over $2000 was presented to his family from donations, the tournament, & door prize drawings. A few heartfelt speeches were given and some tears were shed.
The participants were blessed with a 133% payout which is very uncommon for a benefit Tournament.

Special Thanks to: David Ford, Mark West, Doug Haeussler Sr., Doug Haeussler Jr., Cody Malone, Lee Humphries, Tom Kettle, Brady Winans, Jim Brack, & the GarTex Bass Club.

Results

1st place: Keith Taylor/Shawn Castonguay with 23.52lbs. $1500 (total win $2250)

3rd place: Zach Ziober/Kevin Bryant with 18.28lbs. $300
