I am looking for some info on LBJ as I have never been there and would like to go soon. I have read that they are working on getting rid of the Hydrilla, is it completely gone at this point? What area of the lake is best for Bass fishing? Is it a deep ledge and hump lake or a shallow vegetation lake? any info would be greatly appreciated as I will be driving from 5 hours away. Thanks

Was there Saturday for a family reunion. Water was clear with scattered hydrilla and tons of baitfish up shallow. My son actually caught a real nice male about 2-1/2 lbs off a nest but couldn't get the bigger female to commit.that was near the dam. Looked like some good swimbbait water hope this helps a little.
