Okay its official 1287 Bridge is the "lake boundary" no boats will be allowed past that bridge. No boats will be allowed to launch past that bridge.

I'm gonna miss her....

Thanks, good info to know. It would suck if someone went out and bought a jet boat for this tournament without knowing there were going to be boundries.

Need to re-word it to PK/Brazos tourney. 1287 Is far past "lake boundaries" as mentioned earlier.

Don't misunderstand me at all. I don't fish the tourneys, and don't have a dog in this hunt at all. But, will say when you go in the mouth of the river, the 2nd bend to the right is considered "Brazos" not PK.

As I understand this statement that was posted in multiple locations, the rule states that teams may fish Possum Kingdom Lake, and all of its tributaries. If you can reach it by boat it is fair game.

To make a change to the boundarys for the tournament, after teams have paid entries is not right in my opinion.

As director of another tournament I do realize rule changes do occur, but to make such changes after so many team have paid large entries is not right.

While I do have a little dog in this fight, seeing that I am already registered, having paid my entry, and booked a room for several nights, I'm really just speaking my opinion on what I feel is right ethically for a Tournament Director to do.

I'm speaking only on what the rule has previously stated, with no biased opinion on information about the lake. Iv never been within 50 miles of Possum Kingdom. All I know is was I have seen from a few minutes of looking at a lake map.

With now adding a boundary on the Brazos river, could there be additional boundaries added to other tributaries of the lake, between now and Tournament day?

Hey guys this is Bryan with PK CatMasters, we have made a boundary rule do to the size of tournament, and under the right conditions you could fish this tournament almost to Lubbock, we fill this is the fair boundary for all anglers. The lake Boundary for Possum Kingdom Lake up river is actually 1 mile south of highway 67 bridge, so we really won't be fishing Brazos river, the water is only an 1inch deep at this time at hwy 67 bridge so this change shouldn't have much affect on most anglers, if you have any questions please fill free to call me (325)-998-2191

Jerry,
PLEASE NOTE:

Gents, this was simply overlooked while making the rules. 100% sure nobody would be happy if a guy weighs inn 150lb stringer of flat-heads he caught 35 miles up river in an air boat! We are just trying to protect the integrity of the tournament.
