Has anyone been to Whitney lately? what have they been chomping on? I have a trip coming up and dont want to get skunked lol!

Caught around 30 last weekend on crank baits and soft plastics. Watermelon red speed craws and 1.5 cranks. Caught fish every where we went. Caught one on top water. It took 22 lbs to win a working man's last week.

I fished the state park area about a week ago and had a good limit on a 6xd, definitely have to pick through some sandbass. I am curious if anyone ever goes up river towards the Hamm creek area, never been up there and have wanting to try it just don't know if it's worth anything.

C.A.S.T. Metroplex division is on Whitney Saturday and the Bohemian is there Sunday. So....which one ya fishing?

Free West sausage , free beer , @ weigh in . West Bass Club people put on the best. everyday there is . This year on Whitney it has been un real for all fishing . Can not wait to see the big bass . So glad it is back at Harbor Master Marina after the owners lost it all 2 times last year. That is were we keep our pontoon boat and he only has one request , please do not park on his grass. He has worked hard to fix it up for us so please let's do our part. Will be fishing it with my grandson for the 2nd time for him . LOL Already called me 5 times tonight .
