Debating on going to Grapevine this weekend. Never fished it. Do y'all have any tips or advice or places to go? Anything is helpful.

The Vine fished great last weekend, I caught both pre and post spawn fish so they aren't done yet. Caught fish on every bait I threw and had at least one from every spot I stopped at. One thing to keep in mind, just because you catch small fish in an area doesn't mean that's all there is... many instances I had to weed through dinks to catch the better fish.

Fishing near the dam, rip rap and chunk rock. Throw a jerkbait and you should catch a lot.

I put in at silver lake marina last week (expensive launch fee, but it was windy and i have a small boat) and fished the all around the edges up the creek and the coves by the docks. Fished for a couple hours in the evening and ended up with 4 bass and a crappie. Best bass was 20 inches and crappie was 13 inches. Threw a white spinner bait with willow blades the whole time.
