Hello my fellow city anglers!

My friends and I recently started a Facebook Group called the Urban Fishing Organization - UFO.

The group is for those anglers who like to fish in the urban environment. This group is the perfect place to meet new friends to fish with and discuss great urban locations, techniques, and most importantly brag about about Urban River Monsters... or minnows!

Currently everyone is the group is the DFW area but we are open to anyone joining as long as your an urban fisherman.

Thanks everyone! We really appreciate the positive feedback and the anglers who have already joined the group.

I also want to mention that this group is in no way meant to take away from TFF. I love this place and will continue to post here on a regular basis. The group simply provides another medium for a specific niche that TFF does not have a vertical for.

Best of luck. Lots of people follow fishing forums for the wrong reasons. Spots usually get fished out fast once people find out about them. Also it seems fishing pressure goes way up once a body of water or a spot gets discovered. Most anglers on forums are very responsible and respect the outdoors. You have others that could care less about the fish much less the environment as well. I see a lot of bank areas that are trashed heavily. Just my two cents.



Side Note: Hopefully you all will promote "taking care of the outdoors" and good fishing skills!

They have got some nice bass in that body of water, it's my go to fishing spot
