What ramp is that? Not Buck, Jordan, idb, or Sanger.

When they stock, do they drive around and find good protected areas to dump them in and do so all over the lake? Or do they just dump them straight in at the ramp? I would think some strategic placement would go along way....

They had other pictures of them dumping the fingerlings in cover, so it's better than just dumping them at the ramp

Dumping them at the ramp is just fine. These skilled biologist work with these fish every day and worry about it alot more than you do. Pond is a great side of the lake to dump these fish. Go tpwd!

Really, dumping those little guys where there is no good cover is just a big fest for the sandies. It sounds like they got them to some cover, at least hope so.
