The last month or so has been a rough one, but it is starting to turn around. even though it was only a dink red it had scales and gills, at this point that's all I can ask for. I went to the marsh today around three, there was bait galore in the water mainly shad from what I could tell. Started out throwing Gulp swimming mullet in chartreus. One fish hit that but got off, after throwing that for a while I switched to a Gulp mantis shrimp under a popping cork and the hard heads loved it so I started to throw a top water and then follow it by a mantis shrimp on a jig head. That's when the one dink decided to eat. It seemed like the fish have been holding tight to points here lately but that's just my opinion.
