Lavon has been pretty steady this past week. There are still some fish being caught shallow but I'm still fishing the 8-14' water. plenty of small fish but I have noticed that if you will weed through the small ones the better fish will be the last to bite. This seems to be pretty consistent when fishing brush piles. we have fished standing timber, brush piles, flooded willows and rocks. No one certain type of structure has been better than another. Typical trip has been 25-50 keepers and 50-100 short fish.
Anything with Chartreuse will get you bit.

There might be more white crappie on that tailgate than all of Sam Rayburn combined!! Better bring some of them with you next weekend!!
