Well I didn't get to fish as much as I wanted. Things didn't go as planned. A buddy and I were supposed to use his boat and set 3 trot-lines. Well he got stuck at work so I had to use my john boat last minute. Rowing far and setting 3 lines by myself was tough. It was worth it. I got this 32 pound yellow cat! Mothers day weekend has always been my lucky weekend. I didn't get to fish Saturday night since I was wore out and stayed in my uncomfortable john boat all night.

Mothers day weekend has proven to catch big cats for me. My family was out of town. I currently have this fish still alive in a tank. Trying to "Flush" them out like people say. Then we will have a fish fry!

Those west Texas flatheads look a lot lighter.
