a not quite 10" bluegill caught by Ashley...

this little 8.5" Bull Rio is thus far one of the prettiest fish I have ever seen...
with exception of the Rios, most of our fish are still suspended very deep and only now starting to transition into spawn colors. I did pick up our 1st Greenie of the year on the bank as well, so full fledge action is not far off. Last year of course we were fishing with at least 18' more water so all our data is pretty much not useful. Side note: Ash is catching 7 to 1 fish on live worms than I on artificial...that could be because she flat out can out fish me or the silly fish just want a real meal

Gotta question your 18 ft number. Lake travis has been at 671 or higher since November of 2015.

What ramp would you recommend there for my 18 pontoon, not familiar with Travis, don't like crowded ramps. I will not go on weekends and probably will not go there once school is out. thanks

Nice fish. I haven't caught a rio grande perch since I was 14 years old. I might have to try farther south soon just to see if I can't fix that.

whatever, I happened to be fishing in the tops of the trees that are now outta the water....but sorry its not meeting to your standards.... sorry replace 18' with 13'....im a liar I guess. I was looking at the bank not the data....Thank you so much Bob Landry for pointing that fact out....how dare I misinform the people of TFF. This may well conclude my posts....

Enjoy the post and pictures, as always thumb

I haven't fished with anything besides the fly rod in over 6 months now so I expect Ash would be out fishing me 7 to 1 or better too. What I can't figure out is how she stays clean digging in worm dirt all day. I haven't figured out how to stop wiping it on my clothes grin

And I also enjoy the posts, photos, and videos. No need for Kent to get his panties in a wad. I was just referring to the Lake Travis water level history, and since Nov of 2015, the Lake has varied between 671' and when it was shut down at 684'. Excuse the hell out of me for questioning anyone's facts.
