Use the braided line technique. There's good videos on YouTube on how to do it. It's the most pain free option.

The two lures that get most guys are topwaters and lipless rattlers because they are used on schooling bass. Don't tell me, let me guess....

You hooked a fish about a pound & a half that you reeled to the boat quickly and were trying to unhook it fast so you could get back into the action!

Am I right??

No way to do it , they cut me open amd said nope so now im on my way to the surgeon. If i would have pulled it my tendon would have snapped and my thumb wouldnt work anymore

nope , jerkbait at a pond and it was a 1 more cast deal . it was a nice 3 lber. Good guess though. Its in there snug to the point 2 different surgeons dont know how to remove it. They are about to cut my thumb completely open

Yikes!

My thumb is just starting to heal from a Trokar that went under the nail. I was rigging another fluke on my c rig and stepped on the swivel....

Bad spot for a hook! The shots you get to numb the area will hurt more than the hook does though. Then they just slice and dice and pull it out. Good luck.

Can they numb it up, cut the hook at the bend and push the hook point up through the nail and out?
